Star glitz and glam.

There's nothing much like coming home after a 12 hour shift of work to eat dinner, and stare at the TV. And tonight, its the Golden Globe! While, it may not be as exciting as the Oscars, it is still entertaining. There's something about watching celebrities all dressed up and receiving awards. I mean its not like I particular know all the people stars thank in their speeches or even come to know their work anymore than what I perceive it to be from movies and TV shows, but I think the appeal for me is to see the pure excitement when one gets recognized for the work they have done over months and years. I am not going to lie though, one of my favorite moments, was when Jim Parsons of Big Bang Theory won a Golden Globe award.  (Another really awesome TV show). I do wonder at times how it might be like if you were there...amidst all the atmosphere, hype, and people. Would you be star-struck? In utter shock? In a giggly-incredibly happy mood? I am not sure how I would react. For one thing, I have never really met anyone really famous, so I have no idea. Perhaps in the future. All this to say, right now though, I am pretty satisfy being in the living room of my home, on the couch, and in sweats and enjoying the Golden Globe.
