It has been a lovely few days in Toronto, meeting up with family and friends. Here's some of my favorite spots in Toronto this past weekend!
First off, I love coffee. The aroma. The warmth. The caffeine. The activities you can do along with coffee (like chatting, reading the paper, doing work). Its honestly wonderful. Darkhorse is this expresso bar on Spadina. And more than just expresso and coffee, it has a lovely environment. The place is refurbished for this modern look. Its super comfortable and its great to chat up with some friends.
David's tea is also great. It was my first time this weekend, there but I also really loved it too. The nice thing about it is that it has a large selection of specialized teas (with awesome names) and they all smell amazing.
This place is called Saving Grace. I went with some of my friends for lunch here and its super quirky and cute looking inside. Also, have come to really like it too.
So, this is what I realize when I go to Toronto ... I eat a lot with family, with friends, with anybody. We gather around food. We talk about food. We go from one cafe to another cafe. Its actually been a really fun time. That's why I love Toronto, so much to see and to do. And of course, seeing people that I miss and love.
