Awaiting

i wait. you wait. we all wait. but are we prepared while waiting? today's church message on waiting for the Son- Christ. it was a powerful message.

2 Peter 3:10-12 says But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed in its coming...  and verse 14 goes on to say, So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him.  


what a challenge to my heart and to my life. we must be prepared today as we do not know the day of the coming of Christ. as the pastor concluded saying "Are you personally ready? Are you at peace with your maker?"
